Her cheek folded gently onto my breast.
Her warmth shielded me from the chilly breeze.
A tension, that I had not even been aware of, escaped.
Released from a dreaded fate.
I felt the rhythm of her calm and steady heartbeat
Her breath pulled me into the dream world.
I awoke. Had she been there? Yes?
No!
