Fear other’s reaction

Doubt leads to inaction

Occupied with distraction      

Stomach in a knot

Say you weren’t taught

Peer pressure says naught

Lost in a negative thought

Desire to stall

Don’t have the gall

Rather dawdle than call

Perfection your shortfall

Do the deed

Take the lead

Act with speed

You’ve been freed
