SATURDAY by Ellyn Wolfe

SATURDAY by Ellyn Wolfe

I read poetry as I walk

Occasionally glancing up

To see what might trip me.

Inspired by the words, I listen

For the voices of nature around me,

Silent to those lost in busy-ness.

Then a bee comes to visit

Lands right on the page

Reminding me—you’re still here.
